Sr Full Stack Developer: DevOps at GovernmentCIO LLC (Washington, DC)

Overview

GovernmentCIO is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with experience in DevOps. The candidate should be passionate and driven to solve real-world problems. You will be responsible for contributing to the architecture, design, and development across the full stack of software applications and tools for users.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for creating maintainable defect-free code using software development best practices and coding standards. The candidate will work with stakeholders as needed to specify and validate key functionalities. The candidate will also assist in troubleshooting production issues and work closely with team members (architects, stakeholders, operations, and testers) using Agile Scrum.

• Contribute as a productive member of an agile development team.


• Analyze, design, and implement business requirements.


• Design and implementation of database objects.


• Development and testing of WCF Services.


• Development and testing of user interface


• Integrating and testing with back-end WCF services and databases.


• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipeline

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field.

7+ years of industry experience in developing WEB applications using .Net, C#, SQL Server, WCF Services.

3+ years of industry experience in working in the WEB frontend development using HTML5, Bootstrap framework, JavaScript, jQuery, and jQuery plugins.

2+ years of experience working with Azure Cloud and configure CI/CD pipeline

Excellent understanding of the concept of the relational database, and experience in writing DB queries using SQL Server database.

Hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining continuous integration/continuous delivery build pipeline is a big plus

Experience as a DevOps engineer or equivalent is a big plus

Excellent communication skills.

Additional Experience and Knowledge a Plus:

Working experience with JIRA or similar toolset.

Experience with virtualization technologies such as Virtual Box and VMware.

Prior experience working in a Federal government environment a big plus.
