Summary & Role Information
SAP Graph is exposing the API of the intelligent Enterprise and is connecting to all SAP Business Systems. It is part of the Foundational Plane of the BTP Core unit within the Technology and Innovation board area.

As a (Senior) Frontend Engineer for SAP Graph product development, you will be part of the SAP Graph team, which has great external and internal visibility. This offers the opportunity to get in touch with many solutions in the SAP portfolio and respective experts.

As part of the experienced team, the role is driving various frontend activities end-to-end. It covers design, coding and finally testing. The overall goal is to provide the best SAP Graph experience for our users.

Role Requirements

  • Very good university degree in computer science, human-computer interaction, engineering or a related field
  • Solid programming skills and a solid foundation in web technologies and standards
  • Proven experience working with React and its ecosystem, experience working with node.js, sound programming skills in Javascript and/or Typescript
  • Experience in crafting web designs, with attention to usability, visual design and accessibility requirements
  • Experience with web-based API practices (REST, OpenAPI Specification, GraphQL, OData, JSON)
  • Reliable and open-minded with strong team working skills, determined to reach a goal in time as well as the ability to work independently and to prioritize
  • Fluent English - written and verbal
  • Strong can-do attitude and creativity – try out new ideas and approaches
  • Experience with SAP solutions and technologies like SAPUI5, UI5 Web Components or Luigi is a plus

Furthermore, a strong sense for visual design and aesthetics as well as practical Experience with UX and Design Thinking methods and tools is a plus

Work Experience
We are looking for professionals with at least 2 years of work experience.
