Who we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced, senior full-stack developer with expertise in Python using Django frameworks and Javascript. As the Tech Lead you'll be required to build and lead a small in-house software team and work closely with the CEO and COO on the business priorities. You'll be confident providing strategic and architectural viewpoints as well as enjoy getting into the nitty gritty of the every day. You'll be an excellent communicator and have proven ability in creating and executing a delivery plan.
Experience working with GIS/mapping related libraries would be highly regarded. You'll be skilled at identifying, resolving and mitigating unforeseen issues in a practical manner and be able to manage your own time effectively.
As you'll be working with hardware, you'll be happy working mainly from EYEfi's new offices in Abbotsford (parking available), but there is flexibility to work remotely when the nature of the work allows.
EYEfi has a very proactive, vigorous and ambitious product development agenda over the next 3, 6 and 12+ months, as they further commercialise their global patented spatial technology. They're well funded to support growth over the next 3+ years, so expect this role to be exciting, and for the right candidate, offer a career path to a more senior role, should that be desired.
