One of our Hiring Partners is looking for a Backend Engineer. Here are the details:
Job Location: Toronto, Canada [This is an ONSITE opportunity]
Job Type: Full-time & permanent
Visa Sponsorship: Available
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop our core features, build robust and scalable systems for our backend infrastructure.
- Contribute to product vision and development.
- Work in a start-up environment and self-paced.
Experience & Education :
- Should have a minimum of 4 years- experience in a Back-End role
- Should have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
Mandatory Technical Requirements :
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with Python
- Should have a strong experience with Django
- Experience and a good expertise in Javascript
- Good experience with algorithms, data structures, and complex analysis
Nice-to-have Skills (not mandatory but will be a bonus):
- Experience with NodeJS
- Experience with AWS
- Experience working in a fast-scaling start-up
Other attributes :
- Should have excellent communication skills
- Experience in leading a team will be a plus
- Ability to take ownership of the projects and adapt/changing the requirements
