About the Role

Vacancies exist within our asset management software development team as we work to ready AMT, our enterprise asset management product, as an Azure based Cloud application.

We require experienced software developers who will predominantly focus on the development of React front-end applications for AMT.

The development environment is based on Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Azure DevOps and Git, supplemented with components and productivity tools such as Confluence, Material-UI and NPM.

This is a permanent, full-time role, which can be based in RPM's offices in either North Sydney or the Brisbane CBD. Our Technology team have recently started working in a more flexible environment, and you may be able to work remotely provided you are able to attend team events and meetings when required in either office.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce high quality software code


• Undertake analysis, testing and troubleshooting


• Document and support RPM’s software solutions


• Adhering to software quality standards and team objectives

About You

Mandatory experience:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience developing web solutions


• Advanced knowledge of React


• Strong JavaScript, Typescript, CSS and HTML5


• Web development technical leadership


• SQL Server


• Knowledge or strong understanding of object orientated design principles


• Experience with SOA, WCF or other forms of Enterprise Middleware


• Relevant tertiary qualification, industry certification or equivalent work experience


• Good written and spoken English

Other valued experience:

• C#/.NET


• Material UI


• Unit Testing Frameworks e.g. NUnit, Visual Studio Unit Testing Framework


• Application Lifecycle Management


• Experience in Enterprise Security


• Azure App Service, Azure SQL and Azure AD


• WinForms or WPF on Desktop Applications


• Exposure to third party libraries e.g. DevExpress, Telerik and/or Syncfusion


• Participation in large scale, complex software projects.
