This is a hands-on, full lifecycle role which provides an opportunity to solve complex business, data, and technical challenges. As a key contributor throughout the entire development cycle you will be challenged to think outside the box and inspired to deliver cutting edge technology solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bring fresh ideas and innovation to a constantly evolving landscape of opportunity

Drive delivery of low-latency, high-performance microservices, processing engines, APIs, and system integrations

Evangelize adoption of development best practices like agile and lean methodologies, DevOps, continuous delivery, and test automation

Translate complex business and functional requirements into technical designs

Ensure platform delivery is of a high quality with every release, raising the bar for quality, resiliency, performance, and testability for each component that you work on

Translate complex business and functional requirements into simple technical designs

Collaborate and build relationships with architects, development teams, operations partners, and internal business stakeholders

Ensure the stability and reliability of our production platforms
QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 3 years of professional development experience
-
Strong fundamental understanding of data structures
-
Experience with Git based workflows, automated delivery pipelines, agile delivery, and test-driven development
-
Demonstrable passion for technology (e.g. personal projects, open-source involvement)
-
Familiarity with a variety of programming styles (e.g. OO, functional), and knowledge of software design patterns is a strong plus
-
Experience with API and integration platforms (e.g. MuleSoft, APIgee) is a strong plus
-
Exposure to iSeries development and related technologies (e.g. ILE COBOL, MQ, DB2) is a plus
-
BA/BS degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent practical experience is required
-
Technical and/or industry certifications is a plus
-
Enthusiasm for continuous learning is a must
