JOB DESCRIPTION: SOFTWARE ENGINEER -
Sekure is currently looking for energetic and motivated individual to join our Engineering team as a Software Engineer to develop our web applications in JavaScript and ReactJS.
The Software Engineer will join a team that is working to build cloud data security products from the ground up to enable secure collaboration in Anywhere work mode. The platform operates on a microservice architecture. We are building the platform that leverages advanced data modeling, ML, and UBEA. This hire will play a key role in the development of custom data models, algorithms, pipelines, and APIs to support these features. This is SaaS, a multi-tenant, cloud based application that performs advanced security and data governance analytics in real time in a massive scalable manner. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of talented engineers, researchers and data scientists to solve the most challenging cloud security problems.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:
- Write modular, scalable, testable, well-documented code adhering to the coding and security standards
- Building cloud based products with massive scalability and reliability requirements
- Ensuring Data Ingestion - Structured and unstructured
- Integrate microservices into React frontend
- Help define APIs to power single page applications
- Create libraries that enable modular, extensible design
- Optimize page performance of complex web applications
- Customization of Advance search filters
- Ability to correlate data; Search by metadata
- Semantic search; Ability to select synonyms-
- Help scale Sekure Cloud platform and improve performance
- Debug and test completed work/projects
- Improve code quality, continuous integration (CI/CD) and overall DevOps process
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in technology, security, industry standards and best practices to ensure that we are taking an appropriate proactive or reactive stance.
QUALIFICATIONS :
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a software engineering discipline
- 5+ years' experience in application development
- Proficient in Front end languages (ReactJS, Javascript)
- Adept in the design and development of automated tools, systems and services in multiple technology domains
- Experience working in an Agile team, Scrum preferred.
-Experience in using software development tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GIT/Bitbucket & Jenkins.
- Experience with build automation, test driven development, continuous integration and delivery
- Exposure to Micro service architecture, REST API design/development
- Knowledge of Powershell, Unix Shell scripting & SQL.
- Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc)
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka
- Must have expertise in REST APIs and their application in SaaS, PaaS and IaaS
- Experience with HTTPS and Web 2.0 programming required.
- Good understanding of distributed systems, data structures and algorithms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to self-manage and deliver according to a schedule
- Ability to work efficiently in both collaborative and independent environments.
- Knowledge of security domain is a huge plus
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/PREFERENCES:
- ES6 standards
- RESTful API integration
- Must be able to work in the USA in the future
- Must be able to travel internationally
