Xyris is a Brisbane-based software company that creates nutrition analysis software for the health care sector, consumer health, and the food industry.
Role:
We are looking for a talented and experienced full-stack software developer to join a small, hard-working development team to contribute to our new cloud-based products and mobile apps.
Working closely with other team members, you will help roll out features into the new product releases. You will be expected to write and test code to a high-quality standard. You will also be expected to assist in the management of the software development infrastructure and release process. The role includes front end and server-side development.
The position is full-time with an immediate start date. You will work in our Brisbane office in the Western suburbs. There are flexible arrangements regarding working from home. Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.
Qualifications and experience:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent would be ideal
- At least two years of work experience as a software developer
Technical skills:
We work with a variety of technologies and languages. Experience in and/or willingness to learn all the following is required:
- Dart/Flutter
- Google Cloud Platform
- Google Firebase
- AWS
- Go
- React, Redux and Typescript
You will need:
- Strong, demonstrated general programming skills
- Experience in server-side development
- Experience in building and maintaining software infrastructure
- Experience in release management
