Company/Job Overview :
Goalteller is a fintech startup in the investment planning space. The company is in the process of building a highly dynamic platform for making financial decisions more informed and planned. The company would be operating in the B2C space.
The company will be adopting a mobile first approach
The platform would be run on highly synchronized, dynamic algorithms that would be the core of the platform/business.
The aforesaid role requires a strong coding background along with a hands on experience of building scalable systems.
Skills/Experience Needed :
- Strong understanding of backend languages including Python
- Built/understanding of systems that scale well with increase in customers and business
- Understanding/Experience of setting up systems that are extensible and reliable that enable a bug free experience for users
- Sound Programming Knowledge and deep understanding of system design and architecture
- Deep Understanding of data driven web/mobile application design and development
- Should be comfortable thinking end to end and a good understanding of storage ( Sql/No Sql) technologies
- Experience with database design, development and administration, and a thorough understanding of how the backend design impacts performance and user experience
- Good Knowledge of design patterns, data structures and algorithms
- Experience with event or service based systems
- Experience with web servers ( Eg. Apache) and cloud based ones ( AWS)
- Familiarity with common stacks and programming frameworks
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming
- Experience with containers ( Docker, ECS, Kubernetes etc)
- Experience in any financial domain is helpful
Responsibilities :
- As part of the core founding team, the individual would be expected to understand the business logic / requirement and then model the same into a well written adaptable and scalable code and also leading other members of the team
- He will also be required to design the entire backend architecture for the Goalteller application
- Needs to be very passionate about the subject as the work would be very demanding as the product creation would need exhaustive iterations
