We’re looking for talented and dedicated Software Engineers to join our teams across EA's Firemonkeys Studio in developing AAA mobile games. We have multiple roles available for Mid-Level and Senior Engineers.
If you’re a Mid-Level Engineer, you’d get the chance to work alongside experienced developers within the gaming industry in Melbourne, as well as work on your own skills while developing our leading mobile games! If you have 3-6 years of experience within gaming and C++ programming combined, this could be a great role for you.
For our Senior-Level Engineers, you’d get the chance to mentor junior developers in your specific game team and help drive forwards the success of the studio! If you’re an experienced Software Engineer with 7-9+ years of experience in gaming and are advanced in C++ programming, we’d also love to hear from you.
Our engineers either form part of our Game Teams, playing a crucial part in our continuous updates, adding new features/ contents/ modes, or they sit in our Tools and Tech Team writing new tools and adopting modern technology for our teams!
Key Responsibilities
- Programming mobile games using C++ and Lua
- Writing and implementing tools for creation of mobile device applications using C#
- Programming within all areas of game development, including: Math and 3D graphics, game engines, user interface, special effects and SDK
Skills and Experience
- Programming experience in the gaming industry
- Excellent C++ skills
- Experience working with and extending existing code
- Desirable - Lua, C# and Python skills
- Experience working with a schedule
