As a Site Reliability Engineer, you would embed with the Indeed Hire team to guide them in maximizing feature velocity while achieving high availability, performance, and correctness goals. Long-term Priorities
- Ensure the organization meets reliability goals (SLOs)
- Advise the growing organization on reliability practices
- Expand websites and scale back-end systems to different geographical regions around the world for (a) failure resilience and (b) improved page load times for customers
- Enable rapid development velocity and business growth by (a) providing easy ways to adopt reliability practices, (b) enhancing the reliability of all aspects of the software development lifecycle, and (c) leading the organization’s public cloud adoption
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
Dublin Base Salary Range: 82,000 - 100,000 EUR per year

Responsibilities
Design, develop, ship, and motivate the creation of software and systems to increase product reliability and organizational efficiency.
Guide reliability practices through the entire software development lifecycle through activities like architecture reviews, code reviews, creating platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and chaos testing.
Maintain service health through monitoring and follow-the-sun incident response.
Improve service reliability through blameless post-incident reviews and using code to prevent or respond to problem recurrence.
About you
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience writing code in Java, Go, Shell, Perl, Python, or a similar language.
- Experience in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
- Strong interest in SRE topics like SLOs, resilience, scaling, performance, and more.
