Job Title : Backend Developer
Responsibilities :
- Build high availability and extremely reliable high volume transactional systems
- Deliver reliable solutions that handle massive data and high traffic
- Focus on scalability, performance, service robustness, and cost trade-offs
- Continuously drive to explore, improve, enhance, automate, and optimize distributed systems and tools to best meet evolving business and market needs
- Take a moderately complex problem and come up with a modularized,maintainable system which can be developed independently across team to better understand the problems and figure out potential blockers/enhancement which can help solve problems better
- Mentor other SDEs and advise the leadership team on the technical vision
- Should be able to debug an existing code and build new features when minimal or no documentation of prior implementation is provided
- Hands on with service oriented architecture, building and deploying services is an added advantage
- Know-how usage of MVC architecture including utils, helpers, services and libraries is an added advantage
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Bachelor's in engineering
- 2-5 years of experience in Backend Technologies is a must
- Must be a proven performer and team player that enjoys challenging assignments in a high-energy, fast growing and start-up workplace
- Must be a self-starter who can work well with minimal guidance and in fluid environment
- Hands-on experience in writing Node.js applications is must (including Socket.io and Express or similar)
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, both dynamic (JavaScript, Python, etc.) and strongly typed object oriented language
- Experience with web technologies, Linux, MySQL, memcache, redis
- Experience and knowledge of open source tools & frameworks, broader cutting edge technologies around server side development will be an added advantage
- Excellent data structure & algorithm and problem solving skills
- Having AWS experience and Full-stack knowledge will be an added advantage
