• Websites architecture
• Design and implement new features and functionality
• Ensure high-performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS
• Help ensure plugin integration and compatibility with CMS
• Use debugging tools
• How to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (XML, JSON)
• Follow and contribute to our internal standard

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• PHP, Python and MySQL
• HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Custom post types and taxonomies
• Commonplace and proven plugins
• Programming security best practices
• Custom WordPress theme development
• Custom themes for use with WooCommerce
• Using command line tools on Linux servers, git for source control
• Involvement in the open source community
