To support our Windows System Engineering Team we are currently looking for a Senior System Engineer (m/f/d) with experience in the field of Windows Infrastructure.
YOUR TASKS
- Maintenance as well as 3rd level support of the Windows server infrastructure and their components
- Independently taking on tickets and tasks regarding incident-, change- and problem management
- Focus on maintenance, design & enhancement of the infrastructure in cooperation with the responsible teams
- Server roll-out, software distribution as well as participation in infrastructure projects
- Ensure system monitoring and automation to guarantee availability for our delivered services
- Maintenance of the system documentation as well as the CMDB
- Communication hub to other technical management teams
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed education in the field of information technology
- At least 5 years of proven experience in implementation and administration of Windows infrastructure in at least some of the following areas:
- Windows Server Systems 2008-2016
- Microsoft Exchange 2016-2019
- Active Directory Services
- Windows Core-Services (DNS, DHCP, DFS)
- Windows Clustering
- Experience with IT service management processes (especially incident- and change management)
- High personal commitment and availability
- Independent work style and self-initiative
- Team player and good communication skills
- Service- and process-oriented work style
- Interested to participate in trainings, internal know-how transfer & self-study
- Very good command of both spoken and written English
Ideally:
- Experience with automatically OS- and software deployment (Matrix42 Empirum etc.)
- Experience with:
- Virtualization systems
- Monitoring systems in a service provider environment (Nagios(CMK), etc.)
- Client-, Server-, storage- and networking hardware
- IIS Webservices
- Experience with Windows Failover Clustering and/or Availability Groups of advantage
- IT-Security know-how
