We are looking for someone interested in being a thought leader in the security space both for our own teams and back into the community and our clients.

A successful candidate will have experience working through ambiguity, helping to define security requirements with managers and engineers and incorporating customer feedback, as well as identifying potential problems before they become real problems.



RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES

  • Help establish and drive the decision-making for platform and application security architecture decisions

  • Seek creative solutions that enhance our security stance while minimizing process friction

  • Collaborate across the stack to identify potential exploits and help the team avoid creating new ones

  • Collaborate with industry adjacent and ecosystem security teams

  • Threat modeling and mitigation

  • Mentor less experienced developers through the development, design, and troubleshooting of secure systems

  • Guide teams to build more secure products in a cloud environment



QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience as a core contributor

  • Previous experience in the security domain

  • Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is fundamental

  • You have strong debugging skills and/or experience with reverse engineering

  • You are a clear communicator and are quick to participate in deep technical discussions

  • Self-starter with the ability to make independent decisions and the judgment to know when to seek guidance

  • You are adept at writing and/or presenting with a passion for sharing research and presenting to the technical community

  • Relevant degree or demonstrated equivalent industry experience
