Full Stack Software Developer at Lynker (Reston, VA)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Lynker is looking for a talented Full Stack Software Developer to aid in front end and web service development to support a public facing data dissemination application used by a large audience of end users.  You will be joining a team of over 20 talented developers to meet our client's mission in an Agile and collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop front-end web application components.


• Design web service specifications.


• Develop Java-based web service components using Spring/REST.


• Utilize Confluence and Jira as an Agile team member 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Web application development experience, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript (5 years)


• JavaScript Framework experience, such as Angular or React (3 years)


• Web Service development experience using Java, Python, or Node.js (3 years)


• Experience writing code to access a relational database


• Experience with Agile development


• Ability to collaborate in  team environment


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines


• Good verbal and written communication skills


• Work at job site in Reston, VA 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Angular 2+


• Experience with Java and the Spring Framework


• Experience with a CI/CD tool such as Jenkins


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
