Salesforce Developer at Pyramid Systems, Inc. (Dunn Loring, VA)

Pyramid Systems, Inc. has an immediate need for a Mid-Level & Senior Salesforce Engineer in Fairfax, VA. The Salesforce Engineer will act as the Lead and will support a high visibility modernization project. The Salesforce Engineer will expand to support a portfolio of other Low Code projects in support of the expansion of Pyramid’s PaaS and Low Code business line.

• Lead the development and implementation of solutions leveraging Salesforce and other comparable Low Code platforms


• Develop solution and technical architectures


• Analyze business requirements and translate them into user stories and tasks


• In collaboration with the team, support UX/UI engineering tasks


• Identify risks and issues early and develop mitigation strategies


• Manage Salesforce administration and configurations including organizational structure, app integrations and other subscriptions


• Develop solution presentations for both technical and non-technical audience


• Mentor and coach junior staff

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred, however, experience in lieu of degree may be considered


• 5+ years of hands-on experience building complex business applications in Salesforce.com or Appian


• Hands-on expertise in Apex, Visualforce and Lightning components


• Must have at least one certification - Salesforce.com Administrator, Salesforce.com Developer, Appian Credentials


• Must be willing and able to obtain a clearance
