Job Description
The application developer will be responsible for evaluating business requests, proposing solutions and working as part of cross-functional teams to implement fixes or execute new features. The ideal person for this role is a self-motivated problem-solver with the drive to learn new things and the ability to collaborate with other teams to achieve desired outcomes.
Responsibilities
-Work closely with stakeholders when evaluating requests to understand business justification and objectives
-Propose solutions leveraging existing technology stack or relevant industry standard technology
-Design, build and test solutions in conjunction with 3rd party vendors as necessary
-Support end user business testing and incorporate feedback into subsequent releases
-Document functional and technical design along with As Is and To Be process flows
-Maintain and help optimize existing applications, processes, systems and interfaces
Qualifications
Required
-Experience developing in VB .NET, ASP .NET or C#
-Strong SQL skillset (T-SQL, PL/SQL) and experience working with SQL Server, Oracle DBs
-Experience working with RESTful APIs
-Experience developing Excel macros (VBA)
-Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a changing environment
Preferred
-Experience working with Oracle ERPs (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is a plus)
-Experience with building reports in Business Intelligence tools like Hubble, PowerBI, Tableau
-PowerShell and Python experience
-Experience with Sharepoint 2013 or Sharepoint Online
Desired
-Experience with designing, building, and working with Data Warehouses and Data Lakes
-ETL and ELT workflow experience
-Familiarity with working in a shared Git Repository
-Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, and Terraform
-Experience with CI/CD Pipelines such as AWS CodePipeline, Azure Pipelines, BitBucket Pipelines, and Jenkins
