As a Full Stack Team Lead, you will be leading teams of developers to deliver a first-of-a-kind product utilizing the latest technologies. We use .NET Core on Azure and have a heavily distributed architecture using Functions, Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka, and Hyperscale. We work in the rapidly changing space of eCommerce, stretching the limitations of technology on a daily basis. We’re a global group with talented teams working in New York, Seattle, Krakow, Lviv, Montreal, and Tel Aviv.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate and directly manage a global team of fullstack developers
- Oversee the technologies, tools, and techniques used within the team
- Guide team development efforts towards successful sprints delivery
- Work closely with the business and engineers on issues related to design and requirements
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Monitor team performance, conduct performance evaluations and report on metrics.
- Communicate effectively via video conferencing for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ Years of experience developing modern web applications with an object-oriented language (preferably .Net) including Backend and Frontend
- 4+ Years of experience with a modern web framework (preferably ReactJS)
- 1+ Years of experience leading a team of 3-5 developers
- Experience working with deployment and orchestration technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, OpenStack, Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform)
- Experience installing, configuring and maintaining server software (such as NGINX, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Knowledge of standard IT and cloud security practices such as encryption, certificates, Virtual Networks, etc.
- Experience in architecting and end-to-end delivery of scalable web applications - a plus
