About the Role / Responsibilities :

What does the core role include

- Plan and build application for scalability

- Design and Manage System Architecture

- Design, implement or improve features in backend systems - REST APIs, data pipeline and distributed task/job processing systems

- Build infrastructure to support scaling traffic & database (sharding, caching, etc.)

- Work on the organization's performance review Cloud Infrastructure and Services.

What else can you expect in the role?

- Active cross team coordination would be expected

- Architecture and tech stack discussions to optimize for increasing server load

- Drive code and design reviews of components / systems / products in scope

What are we looking for?

- First things first - Strong 4+ year experience in Core Java/ backend technologies

- Good working knowledge of design patterns

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

- The skills that we consider : Java 8, MySQL, Spring, NoSQL, Maven, Kafka, Solr

Desired Experience / Background :

- Experience with NoSQL databases and advanced Java

- Experience in building real-time, large scale e-commerce applications

- Prior experience with Search is a add on.

- Good to have big data /spark experience.
