Avion Solutions is seeking candidates for a Configuration Manager/Data Manager position. Successful candidate will provide technical services and analysis for management of data products supporting the production, repair, and overhaul of US Army aircraft.
Duties:
Support Configuration Management (CM) and other Technical Interchange Meetings.
Review, provide comments to, and track Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Modification Work Orders (MWO), Airworthiness Releases (AWR), retrofit actions, and safety messages using the TopVue database.
Support meetings regarding future TopVue requirements and import routines for CH-47F configuration status accounting data into TopVue.
Update, modify and create contracts, Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRLs) and associated contract components within TopVue to accurately process data and deliverables.
Process and manage contract deliverables received from prime hardware contractors.
Coordinate with TopVue Defense to resolve recurring TopVue issues and plan for future build options.
Work with Block II Risk team to overcome challenges in RiskVue module and correct identified errors.
Conduct drawing review of assigned drawing packages.
Continue developing contract requirements package (CRP) for CM support for PM procurements of hardware and software from aircraft prime contractors.
Support CM duties at Block II configuration management meetings.
Prepare input for programs' Block II CDRLs, Draft Statements of Work, and acquisition strategy.
Update and modify Block II CDRLs and Document Summary List (DSL) as required.
Work with project leaders to meet CM requirements for key Cargo Helicopters modernization and production projects.
Provide as-required CM support to CH-47F Production and Product Modernization teams.
Review Contracts Requirements Packages (CRPs) related to selected hardware and software developers for H-47 aircraft.
Participate in the CRP Process Team.
Support Configuration/Data Management (CM/DM) Review.
Prepare Briefing CM Charts concerning Configuration Control Board (CCB) structure for assigned aircraft to support the System Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).
Support Physical and Functional Configuration Audits (PCAs and FCAs).
Provide data management (DM) support for assigned contracts through coordinating with project leads, procurement analysts, Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED) and contracting officers.
Up to 25 percent travel may be required

Security Requirements: Employee will be required to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance while performing duties under this contract.
Education and/or Experience:
BS/BA + 7 years, or HS + 11years' experience
Experience with military rotorcraft is preferred, ideally in CH-47 aircraft
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and TopVue database technology software with significant CM/DM experience
