Job Description -
Function Description :
- The Data Encryption group is chartered to come up with creative products and capabilities to support data protection in various environments. If you have the talent and desire to deliver and QA innovative products in this space in an agile manner, do join our team
Purpose of the Role :
- Lead QA of security software including functionality, performance and availability testing
- Lead the development of automated testing frameworks
- Release Management
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of QA and performance measurement fraeworks in J2EE or .Net
- Innovative and rigorous multiplatform testing, api testing
- REST api SLA monitoring
- Participation in Agile development including daily scrums
- Release management and certification of products developed
- Creation of QA and SLA Dashboards using Prometheus/Grafna
- Technical Documentation
- Mentoring junior engineers
Qualifications :
Critical Factors to Success:
- Maturity in automated QA and QA framework development
- Excellent communication skills
- Being able to work independently with minimum supervision
Past Experience :
- 7+ years of highly automated QA of api and components api SLA monitoring
- Performance measurement and SLA monitoring of components and apis including stress testing and confidence interval measurements
- Release Management
Academic Background : BS Computer Science & Engg or equivalent
Functional Skills/Capabilities :
- Familiarity with Data Encryption, Tokenization and related Data Protection techniques is a plus
- A background of development in the Security Domain is ideal, but not a must
Technical Skills/Capabilities :
- Java/J2EE development or .Net/ASP.Net REST api and web applications development
- Tools including JMeter/Rest Assured/Cucumber/TestNG
- REST Java/JAX-RS or .Net/Webapi based development and api testing
- Complete Familiarity with Software development and build frameworks including Jenkins, Maven, Git/Stash
- CI/CD based deployment environments in a container based enviroenment
- Software versioning and release management
Knowledge of Platforms :
- Linux
- Windows
- Docker/Kubernetes/Swarm
- Large Cloud based environments
Behavioral Skills/Capabilities: working independently with a US based development group, problem solving, initiative, QA rigor
