FULL STACK DEVELOPER (Backend Heavy)

We are IMMEDIATELY seeking a a talented full stack developer to be part of a special team of professionals setting new standards in offering products within the eLearning and training space. This person will work with the client's team developing ecommerce solutions promoting a catalog of products focused on professional development, eLearning and training.


The ideal candidate will have experience working with WordPress and WooCommerce as there will be some custom development within these platforms and someone who is comfortable working with both the frontend and backend development will be most successful.


What youll do:
Design and maintain e-commerce architecture across multiple sites
Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of platforms
Collaborate with engineering team to design and launch new features
Maintain code integrity and organization
Work with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements
Maintain & update Wordpress & WooCommerce code bases


What you bring to the table:
Must have 3 years experience

Proficient in WordPress and WooCommerce
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications will adhere to them
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
