Job Purpose
The Lead SharePoint Engineer is primarily focused on the design, management and continuous improvement of ICEs primary corporate collaboration platforms. These technologies support records management, team sites, intranet, content portals, and various other functions for all of Intercontinental Exchange and its subsidiaries.
This is a hands-on position which requires expert technical skills, the ability to gather requirements from and manage the expectations of end-users. A successful candidate in this position should expect to spend a portion of each day on customer service, project management and other process-related activities in addition to core development work.

Duties And Responsibilities
- SharePoint Knowledge of configuration, management, and customization of SharePoint 2013/2016
- Software Development Tools - Extensive experience using Visual Studio or a similar development environment, GIT, and scripting languages such as Python, or PowerShell
- Workflow Technology - Experience developing workflows in a platform like SharePoint including an understanding of error checking, and exception handling
- Integrations - Experience integrating different platforms via web services
- Web Applications - A deep understanding of Web Application architecture, and experience doing back-end and front end software development
- Authentication - Understanding of authentication technologies such as Active Directory, SAML, etc.
- Education - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, CIS, or related discipline
- 3+ years hands-on experience with development on the SharePoint platform
- Experience managing staff
- Experience with UI Design and Development
- Experience in an exchange, trading facility, or financial services company
- Experience with SharePoint 2016 and Office Online Server
