Rotor Studios is an award-winning automotive digital studio in Australia with well-established motor clients all over the world over decades. Due to a new project launched in Canada, we're seeking a proactive Technical Account Director to be based on client site in Scarborough, Toronto. The contract period is up to 12 months with possible extension.
Your new role
We're looking for a hands on Technical Account Manager to lead the development of a major tech project. The entire management & production team operate in Toronto so you will be expected to represent the mother company's interests and actively participate in developing business strategy. You are responsible for the large scale pilot project from start to finish, build long term and influential relationships at all levels within the client company. You'll take control of an efficient process, demonstrating leadership to frame the customer's strategic direction. You will actively participate in the evolving product integration strategy. You'll need to be in contact with your Australian office throughout the project, working on flexible hours to ensure communication across time zones.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you're a natural leader, open minded, love AR/VP technologies, and are excellent in explaining technical terms and concepts to non-technical people. With your practical, down-to-earth outlook, you're not afraid to get your hands dirty, set up technology and troubleshoot on your feet. Also these may help you identify yourself' s suitability for this job:
- At least 5 years' experience efficiently managing large scale projects budgeting between $500k and $6 million
- An in-depth knowledge of CGI production
- Strong relationship building and client management skills
- Strong strategic perspective in advice and recommendations
- Dynamic leadership, a mentor with excellent management
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience in managing budgets and planning cycles
- High level of technical knowledge / passionate about digital
