Want to work on Greenfield projects as a Senior Front End Engineer?
Amido is an independent technical cloud-based consultancy that specialises in implementing cloud-first solutions.
Through word of mouth, our reputation is growing with more and more business needed our expertise. With this, we are going through a rapid expansion with the need for Senior Front End Engineers to join our team.
As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will be brought into purpose-built cross-functional scrum teams of Amido engineers to deliver innovative solutions typically in React, Redux and Node to the best engineering standards. You will be a technical decision maker for the front end element of our projects including choosing the right technology and designing the architect of the final solution.
What will you need to join our team?
- A solid background in Front End development – if you are a full stack developer with limited exposure to the Front End, this is probably not the role for you
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks – React would be great, but proven knowledge in Angular or Vue would be fine assuming your JavaScript knowledge is up to scratch! (ES6+ please!)
- Experience creating responsive user interfaces – most user interfaces we build need to work across multiple devices so you’ll need to know your SASS for your LESS and the concepts that drive quality and maintainable UI development (e.g. BEM)
- Strong focus on quality including unit testing – we care about the robust nature of our solution so you will need to have written your own unit tests and value their place in building good software
- An interest in new technology and approaches – we actively encourage and support learning via an available training budget, a company-wide front end community and regular meet-ups. There’s no doubt you’ll need to learn new tools at Amido.
Perks: 10% bonus, 6% non-contribution pension, work on amazing projects, latest .net tools, £2k learning budget geared towards career development…
