As Australia’s leading consumer advocacy group, CHOICE, has a long track record of innovation in response to consumer needs. This role sits within the Digital Delivery team to lead the development and maintenance of the CHOICE suite of web sites and supporting systems.
CHOICE work in a predominantly Agile way meaning you will see the code you develop being used in our digital products within weeks - not years. In addition we have a strong staff development program and we like to make ourselves known at user groups and conferences such as Sydney Sitecore meetup and Agile Australia.
About You
You are very comfortable in a Visual Studio environment and have developed a thorough understanding of the .NET framework.
Ideally, you have worked in a media (or similar) company before and understand the challenges associated with Content Management Systems. You are curious about and see the value in becoming a Sitecore specialist.
- .Net Web Forms and MVC
- C#
- SQL Server
- Visual Studio
- Javascript, JQuery
- Strong troubleshooting skills for production environment
- Able to manage releases and deployments
- Have knowledge on Teamcity, TFS, Octopus etc.
We are looking for someone who has a strong ability to collaborate and work with others in cross functional teams, and who is comfortable to provide design and system architecture advice & support to the wider business.
