Your Responsibilities:
- Design, develop & deploy solutions using cloud technologies for processing millions of transactions
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to build the best digital experience for our shippers & road freight partners
- Collaborate with Product Owners to develop product features that drive our KPIs with optimal balance between code quality and time to market
- Collaborate with Product Owners to decompose complex business problems and lead efforts in solving them via automation
- Identify areas to improve the way we develop & deploy our software
- Ensure proper technical design and documentation
- Share expertise & knowledge within the team
What we expect / Skills and qualifications
- You are a fast learner, with a degree in software engineering or related fields.
- You can program object-oriented fluently; knowledge about domain-driven design and functional programming is a plus.
- You have deep knowledge of JavaScript.
- You have deep knowledge of React and are familiar with Redux and Styled-components.
- You have basic knowledge of node.js, REST interfaces, and are familiar with frameworks based on node.js (e.g., Express, Sails).
- You have experience in building large-scale software solutions, with an eye on performance and security.
- You are very sensitive to best practices such as unit testing, clean code, pair programming and CI/CD.
- You own your tasks and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment within small and talented teams.
- You are able to communicate effectively and work in a team to find optimal solutions in collaboration with product owners and team colleagues
- You have excellent spoken and written communication skills in English; German being an advantage.
