Weve posted this both as a CTO and VP of Engineering role as both equally describe the actual opportunity and the day-to-day authority and responsibilities. To be 100% clear, this involves both heavy hands-on coding as well as strategically building and managing our tech team.

Were really looking for a seasoned engineering leader who has made lots of mistakes, has learned from that and mastered the art of technical discipline and smart decision making.

Who We Are:

We're an 8-figure direct response company that's been profitable since day 1 of our founding in 2010. Were in the process of re-branding our company to Metabolic Living. As part of this, were launching a branded e-commerce website that more accurately reflects our full suite of products weve developed.

And to help lead us into our next stage of growth, were hiring a hands-on, strategic-thinking CTO to continue building out our small, but highly efficient tech team. We have a number of exciting projects we need a full-time CTO to lead development efforts on:

• Were porting our outdated website at www.naturalhealthsherpa.com to our modernized content and commerce platform were building at www.metabolicliving.com on Shopify (this work is already being done by an outside agency).
• Were strategically integrating our in-house direct response platform that weve built over the past 8 years with Shopify so we can leverage the best of elements of each platform
• An end-to-end assessment of tools weve built internally to determine what should be migrated to SaaS and what we should continue to develop/maintain
• Developing strategy to extend our success into the mobile app world; as up until now, weve been 100 web-focused with no app, but we have a huge opportunity with our own app
• Strategically guide the companys overall tech decisions as we continue on our path towards building out a billion-dollar lifestyle brand that penetrates into the offline retail channel

We're riding the $250+ billion annual tidal wave of demand for natural health products. And were positioning our new brand to be right on top of that wave. It is an extremely exciting time for us now.

Our nutrition courses and exercise programs are designed to deliver the most results in the least time. For example, our exercise videos deliver the same or better benefits in just 15 minutes, 3 times a week than do traditional exercise programs that require 60 minutes, 5 times a week. Yes, really.
