DevOps Engineer 4 high-performance personalization cloud services on bare-metal at odoscope GmbH (Köln, Germany)

Your duties include:

• 
  
• the support, optimization, expansion and automation of the Docker-based odoscope operating platform in close cooperation with our developers
• 
  
• the (co)design and optimization of continuous delivery and continuous integration processes and DevOps strategies
• 
  
• Ensuring the smooth and highly available operation of our operational intelligence platform
• 
  
• Development and support of self-healing mechanisms
• 
  
• Potential team leader for DevOps and Service Reliability Engineers
• 
  

Our demands on you:

• 
  
• You have a university degree or comparable qualification.
• 
  
• You have already gained extensive experience in Linux server administration and in working with agile development teams.
• 
  
• Ideally, your experience with Docker in production operation already includes the operation and use of an orchestration framework such as Kubernetes, Swarm or Nomad.
• 
  
• You have experience in monitoring, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• 
  
• Jenkins, Ansible, Rundeck, etcd, Minio, Consul are not foreign words for you but tools you have already worked with.
• 
  
• You have programming skills and know at least a low-level script language; knowledge of GO is an advantage.
• 
  
• You have experience in the highly available operation of databases (MySQL, Cassandra).
• 
  
• In addition, you have experience in building and operating a private cloud on bare-metal.
• 
  
• You have a very good command of written and spoken German and/or English.
•
