Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Discipline;
- A technical Graduate degree or certificate is a plus;
- Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable;
- Certification is a plus.
Experience:
- More than 2 years of experience developing web applications
- Excellent JavaScript skills and programming experience in several front technologies including: HTML5, CSS3, Ajax, jQuery
- Understanding of unit testing and mocking techniques
- Experience with MVC design patterns and JavaScript framework such as AngularJS
- Expert UI skills and knowledge of cross browser issues
- Excellent debugging and trouble shooting skills
- Ability to establish priorities and work independently on multiple tasks
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and practices, especially Agile/iterative development processes
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency with JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS 3
- Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Professional, precise communication skills
- Deep knowledge of AngularJS practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
- Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests for CI/CD
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Subversion
- Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
- Validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback
- Creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core AngularJS
