Qualification : B.Tech / B.E. / Any Degree with Certfications / Diploma (12+) - Technical Board
Work Experience - No. of years : 4 - 6 + years of experience
Nature of experience : ElasticSearch Administration
Competencies / behavioral skills :
- Someone with very good understanding of ElasticSearch and having a desire to learn new technologies to build breakthrough products
Technical Skills :
- Very strong competency in working with Linux - Administration, Configuration, Troubleshooting, File System
- Very strong competency in working with administration, installation, configuration of ElasticSearch and Logstash
- Experience in working with ElasticSearch APIs
- Experience in setting us clusters and shards for Multi-node ElasticSearch clusters
- Good analytical skill & Database knowledge - SQL or NoSQL
- Experience in writing any type of programs in Java, Python, C, Shell, etc. will be preferred
- Working knowledge of Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure will be added advantage
- Experience in integrating 3rd party APIs / web services
- Should be able to learn new products very quickly
Funtional Skills :
- Excellent oral, written and computer communication skills with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Work closely with the Innovations R&D team for conceptualization and PoC development
- Evaluate external ideas, solutions, products and technologies that could be used to expand Open Source capabilities
- Candidate should open to learn new open source techonogies and languages
- Apply unique skills and interests to develop new opportunity domains
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Responsibility Area :
- Planning
- Design and build of ElasticSearch Cluster
- Plan for future automated deployment of Elastic Stack
- Study and perform PoC with emerging technology platforms
Administration & Operations :
- Setup, configure and administer Elastic Search Clusters on Linux
- Configure open source products and implement end-to-end solutions
- Work on Logstash implementation
- Work with the development team and share ideas on how the platform can be improved
- Learn new technologies with limited guidance
- Write ElasticSearch API queries for aggregation, etc.
