Role Outline: We are seeking a seasoned Application Architect to join our clients rapidly expanding Web Content Management team. This person will play a critical role in driving the strategy, architecture, design and implementation of the client's Adobe CQ5/AEM initiative.

Job Role & Responsibilties:

  • Leads large-scale Adobe CQ5/AEM implementation projects.
  • Prepares detailed technical design for various templates, components & services layer.
  • Effectively communicates architecture design to clients and rest of the development team.
  • Directs technical teams in developing the client solutions.
  • Identifies, assesses & solves complex business problems by evaluating variable factors.
  • Follows the strategic direction set by Sr. Management when setting near term goals.
  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.


Required Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience.
  • 4 years hand-on experience implementing Adobe CQ5 or similar WCM systems.
  • 8 years experience in designing, developing & supporting large-scale web applications.
  • Experience working on Java, J2EE projects with RESTful web services.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Experience with any of the following is a plus: Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics/Omniture, Salesforce API, Application/Web Server setup and configuration.
